After a very intense and magical one-hour recording jam with Markus aka Idklang in 2013, Markus kept on listening to the tracks back and forth, editing and carving out pieces. Then he left it and after a while came back to it again and again. The harsh contrast of the sound (field recording drum kits and bass "synth", vocals run through his guitar fx board,...) and the dance music kind of style made it very tempting for him to keep on working with it. And now it just feels to be the right (summer) time to release it.
Enjoy your summer and feel free to enjoy it with the Dystoplaya tapes as a soundtrack~
